The Raitt Homestead Farm Museum hosts the Celebrate MAINE Festival in conjunction with the Mainely Grillin' & Chillin' State BBQ Competition on Saturday August 7th & Sunday August 8th 2010 from 9am to 7pm. Bringing Competition-level BBQ Teams from all over the Northeast and the country this festival is designed for the entire family to enjoy. From the great food, live entertainment, children's activities, artisans, marketplace and green expo, everyone is sure to enjoy this fun-filled weekend.

Only $5 for adults. Children 12 and under - free. Plenty of free on-site parking. Located at 2077 State Rd on Route 103 in Eliot Maine, Take Route 236 north off of I95.  Only 5 miles from the Kittery Outlet Malls! 

Join DennyMike and BBQ legends Paul Kirk (AKA the Baron of Barbecue) and Ardie Davis (AKA Remus Powers) at the 2010 Mainely Grillin’ & Chillin’ State BBQ Competition. Sign up today to secure your spot amongst these masters of ’cue at Paul Kirk’s cooking class taking place on:

The Raitt Homestead Farm Museum mission statement is to educate future generations about farming history. The restoration and preservation of the buildings, property, implements and equipment is accomplished by hosting family events such as the Celebrate MAINE Festival and the Mainely Grillin' & Chillin' BBQ competition. Donations from members, volunteers and the community at large  help with the upkeep of the property and funding for building projects. Thank you for all of your support throughout the years.
